Future Water Polo – Terms and Conditions

By registering for or participating in the Future Water Polo program, you agree to the terms outlined below. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective environment for all participants while protecting the interests of the Water Polo Growth Society.

1. Eligibility
​
Participants must be able to swim confidently in deep water. Completion of the ISWIM Silver Level or an equivalent swim program is required before enrolling in Future Water Polo.

2. Health and Safety
​

Participants must be in good physical health and capable of safely participating in water-based sports.

Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs prior to the first session.

In the event of injury or emergency, staff may provide first aid and contact emergency services as necessary.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

No cancellations, refunds, or make-up classes are provided once the program has started.

Cancellations are accepted only for health-related reasons with supporting documentation (e.g., a medical note).

Missed sessions due to travel, scheduling conflicts, or behavioral dismissal are not eligible for refund or credit.

4. Code of Conduct

Participants must treat coaches, staff, teammates, and facilities with respect.

Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program without refund.

Parents/guardians are expected to support a positive, respectful environment for all.

5. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

By enrolling in the Future Water Polo program, you (the participant and/or legal guardian) understand and agree to the following:

Participation in water polo involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: drowning, physical contact, slips and falls, injury from equipment, or other unpredictable hazards.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, whether occurring during training, games, travel, or any program-related activity.

You hereby fully release and forever discharge the Water Polo Growth Society, its directors, officers, coaches, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, affiliated facilities, and partners (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, death, property damage, or other loss in connection with participation in the program—whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

This waiver applies to all present and future claims and is binding on the participant and their heirs, family members, legal representatives, and assigns.

In the event of an emergency, you authorize program staff to take appropriate action, including contacting emergency services and arranging for medical care. Any associated costs are your responsibility.

You confirm that the participant has adequate medical insurance coverage and understand that the Water Polo Growth Society does not provide accident or health insurance.
6. Photography and Media Release

Photographs and videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional or educational use by the Water Polo Growth Society. If you do not consent to media use, please notify us in writing before the program begins.

7. Program Adjustments
​
We reserve the right to modify schedules, locations, or programming due to pool closures, staffing needs, facility availability, weather, or public health directives. Any changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
8. Privacy Policy
​
Personal information collected through registration is used only for program management and communication. Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or in emergency situations.
Acceptance
By registering for the Future Water Polo program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the Liability Waiver.
